What a surprise ð small enough to fit in your palm
I want to mention first off that I was sceptical of having an MP3 player / recorder etc, since most phones serve the same purposes. Since then I have fell back in love with the use of it and not having to stare at my phone to listen to music.It was easy to pick out my music files on my Windows laptop and copy them to the player. My only con is the limitation of three playlists and only 100 song each playlist. You can use windows media player to add and delete songs to sync with the player easily. The screen is nice and responsive, it came with a charge so I could get started immediately. The size is convenient, about 1/3 the size of a typical cell phone. The headphones included are not the best for music beats but will work well enough till you upgrade earbuds.You can set up to 30 pre sets for radio stations. The player is Bluetooth capable for use with speakers or headsets. You Cannot pair with smartphones, Tablet , Personal Computer, etc. the ACC-LC format is not supported under Bluetooth playing mode. Video, pictures, recorder cannot be used in Bluetooth mode. Folders categories music, playlists, and record while also displaying LRC, BMP, JPG file formats. The player supports 28 languages. Has a 2.4 inch display with 240 x 320 resolution. Comes with 64gb built in memory, supports M p3, WMA, APE, FLAC,WAV, & AAC music formats. Supports video formats AMV, AVI (needs converter). Also supports picture formats of BMP, JPG . Takes about 3 hours to charge. Operating systems that are compatible with this player are. XP (home, pro, with SPL, sp1, SP2, SP3). 32 bit / windows 7 – 10 64 bit.The box is giftable, the player is great for what it is. I enjoy listening as I run, play racquetball and walk the dogs. Some pieces of this are great, whereas others are a pain. For starters, the touch screen is a good bit off, so when you tap the display, it tends to select a button on a different part of the screen. The other main issue is that I have a mac computer, which makes it difficult to move the audio files over to the device. You can drag and drop individual audio files into the folder like a usb drive when it’s plugged into the computer, but none of the song formatting, info, etc. will show up on the device. Otherwise, it generally works as advertised

Small, Economical and comes with Large 64gb Memory
This player is small in size and comes with a large 64gb memory card. It comes with printed multi-language instructions. While the size is great for those carrying such a device around, it isn’t easy to use as the menu selections are difficult to manage. The menus themselves are confusing and difficult to use. But, navigation is doable. This economical player is rather well built and quite heavy, no doubt speaking to it’s significant battery supply. After a few tries, I was able to get this player to connect to a Bluetooth speaker, even though the instructions were a bit incomplete. The small menus are a bit confusing. As a portable player, this achieves 4 stars.

Functions, Fun and Worth the Money
I have a lot of inexpensive radios and media players. These devices are my idea of fun. The only downside is explaining to my wife why I need each one. This MECHEN D53 is one I did not have to work too hard to justify. I told her it was inexpensive, and it is. It is also just the right size, smaller than the average cell phone but does all the media play I want in an easy to handle package. It has a large 64gig internal memory and includes a generous 64gig microSD chip too. Has a clear, colorful touch screen. It plays all my various audio files, high resolution codecs and standard mp3’s just fine. Though I do not do video on these type of players, it has the capability after converting the files. The file conversion is easy for most, and is just one more step. But if you want video on the go, then it is not a big deal to convert and transfer. The instructions provide a link to download the app to do it. And file transfer of audio and video files is easy and this play connects to the computer without a blip. The videos do play and look good. If you plan to view any video files without conversion there are players that cost more, but for me, not an issue. These are best as audio players with Bluetooth or 3.5mm headphone connections and they do the job playing audio easier, cheaper and better than cell phones. Remarkable battery life too.Putting music on the player is easy too. Connect and it pops up as both the 64gig player and its internal 64gig microSD card. Just put the files there and when you turn on the player, it sorts them, organizes and plays them. This player is built to expand. The firmware is updateable and technical support is available and very, very responsive to inquiries and is there to help. That, and the dual headphone jacks (so a friend could listen too, I suppose) and special search function are what sets this player apart. It takes a bit of getting used to but the search function will find anything on the player amongst what could be thousands of tracks, that one song you are looking for. Not a regular thing I will do, but it is nice to have players with extra capability if needed. But for basic function of playing media, this player will do it and sounds good too. Basically, this is a good player. Really really good player if you consider its price. It does it all in a nice size, easy to carry, about half the size of a cell phone. This player hits the sweet spot on every level, value, size, capability and function. This MECHEN D53 is a good deal and does the job well.
